New River Cabinetry’s finish is a state-of-the-art product designed to produce a beautiful, but tough finish that will give many years of enjoyment with minimum care.

First, the wood is carefully selected. A uniform application of hand wiped stain follows to enhance the natural graining and coloring of the wood. Painted finishes require a special formulation and application in order to produce a durable, non-yellowing, long lasting finish. After drying, a high solids catalyzed vinyl sealer is applied and oven dried. Then, to properly prepare it for the final topcoat application, the sealed wood is carefully sanded. After removing all the dust particles off the surfaces, a coat of high solids clear conversion varnish is applied and oven baked. The result is one of the finest finishes available -- as beautiful as it is durable.
